7 Oct - 8 Oct 2017
9am - 4pm Market Place
The October farmers market is part of the Morpeth Food & Drink Festival - and the 2017 Festival - the 5th annual event - is to be held over two days.
Traders at farmers' markets may only sell their own produce, made as far as possible from locally sourced ingredients - and they must be based with 50 miles of Morpeth.
The market includes primary producers - selling meat, fruit & veg, sunflower oil etc, secondary producers - selling baked products, fudge & chocolate, sausages etc - and craftspeople.
Market rules allow up to two "exception" stalls that may not meet farmers market criteria - these attend at the discretion of the market manager to maintain the vibrancy of the market - and will be clearly identified.
The farmers market is run by a partnership involving NCC, Sanderson Arcade and Morpeth Town Council. For more details see our Farmers Market page
