As Morpeth emerges from lockdown, More in Morpeth intend to produce a weekly update on what is happening - and what is not happening yet.

Social distancing measures introduced to the town centre by NCC are being monitored and reviewed. Contact your county councillor of NCC switchboard with comments or suggestions.

Car Parks are back to normal with the short stay and long stay rules in place, so please use your parking disks. On-street parking has been suspended in the town centre to facilitate social distancing. Traffic wardens are on duty.

Public toilets remain closed. Try to plan your trip accordingly

Public buildings - the Town Hall, community centres, leisure centre, the library, playgrounds, paddling pool - remain closed.

Sanderson Arcade is having a phased re-opening with careful monitoring of social distancing in the Gallery and Plaza.

If you choose to wear a face mask or gloves - please remember this is not a substitute for social distancing - and when you have finished with them; take them home or place them in a litter bin!
